Roy Masters Meditation
Behold Discoveries revealed by the Spirit of Truth.
Let me share with you a unique meditation technique that can connect you with the "Spirit of Truth." Embrace the enlightening power of the "Light" for deeper understanding. If any challenges arise in your mind, overlay them with the light to find resolution. The "Spirit of Truth" is your ally, even if it reveals your vulnerabilities, mistakes, or tendencies to misjudge. Instead of resenting what is shown, remain patient and avoid passing judgment.
To begin, lie down with your face upwards, but make sure to stay awake. Focus your attention on the point between your eyes, known as the mind's eye. From this vantage point, visualize your fingers and become aware of the blood flowing through your arm. Start with the first finger, then proceed to the second, third, and fourth. If your thoughts wander, gently guide them back to your mind's eye and refocus on your fingers. As your hand begins to feel numb, you will enter a state of true meditation.
In this meditative state, simply observe whatever appears on the screen of your mind. Resist the urge to engage or get caught up in the images. Imagine yourself sitting in the grandstands, observing a passing parade, or standing by the riverbank, watching the water flow. Just as you wouldn't jump into the river or join the parade, maintain your role as a detached observer. If you find yourself becoming involved, redirect your attention back to your fingers. Remember, your role is solely to watch and observe.
Embrace the "Light" with open arms, as it will bring you greater understanding. Whatever you experience during this meditation is yours to explore and discover.
Roy Masters Meditation
Here is a meditation:
This is how you do Roy Masters' meditation. This is a way to access the "Spirit of Truth." Welcome the "Light"; it brings more understanding. If light is superimposed over an image in your mind, the problem is solved. The "Spirit of Truth" is your friend, though it may not seem so if it reveals your weaknesses, sins, or tendencies to misjudge. You should not resent what you are shown; be patient and do not judge.
You can lie down facing up, but try not to fall asleep. Then, from your mind's eye (the place on your forehead between your eyes), look out and envision your fingers. Feel the blood flowing through your arm, feel the first finger, then the second finger, third, and fourth. If your mind drifts to images, bring it back to seeing through "your mind's eye," your fingers. When your hand feels numb, you are in the true meditation. You are to observe what is shown to you on your mind's screen. Observe but do not be involved. Like watching a parade pass you by from the grandstands, or a river flow by from the bank, you do not jump into the river or join the parade, simply observe. If you are caught up in it, just think of your fingers again. You only watch and observe. Welcome the "Light" for it brings more understanding. What you experience from this is yours to behold and discover.
